UPDATE: July 1, 12:00 PM: For former Airline members, access to online banking is now available. When you first log in follow these steps:
- Under the “Branch” dropdown, select “Airline.”
- Enter your Member Number
- Your temporary Personal Access Code (PAC) will be a combination of (1) your year of birth, (2) an exclamation point, and (3) the middle three digits of your Social Insurance Number (SIN), such as 1975!222
- Click Login
- Once you have logged in, you will be asked to update your PAC and set up multi-factor authentication (MFA).

A fresh take on online banking
You asked and we listened. On July 1, we’re excited to unveil a completely reimagined online banking system for Luminus Financial and former Airline members. Featuring a modern and user-friendly design, our new online banking system will make navigating to your accounts and accessing essential tools a breeze. We’ve also added even more features to empower you to manage your finances effectively. What can you look forward to?

Our new online banking system boasts a modern aesthetic that’s both visually appealing and easy to navigate. New accounts designed with you in mind
On July 1, we are also excited to roll out new accounts to all member-owners, simplifying our offerings and consolidating old account types into a new set of classic and infinite options. This change means that certain existing Luminus Financial and Airline Credit Union accounts will transition to new accounts most closely aligned with current features and benefits.
For example, Luminus’s Three Star Chequing and Airline’s Chequing Account will become the Classic Chequing Account. Higher-tier accounts, such as the Fivestar Chequing, will transition to our new Infinite Chequing Account, offering no monthly fees, fee-free transactions, and added perks such as extended warranty and buyer protection. How the consolidation process will work
We’re working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible. On July 1, 2024, your accounts will automatically switch to the new product or products that correspond to your existing account types. During the transition, you may experience temporary interruptions as we upgrade our banking system and fully integrate the Airline Financial accounts into Luminus. Rest assured, we will keep you informed every step of the way, and our support teams are standing by to assist you.
What changes to expect regarding your account features and benefits
The transition to new products will bring a fresh set of features and benefits designed to enhance your banking experience. The Infinite Chequing Account, for instance, comes with free online banking and overdraft protection. The Infinite Savings Account will offer higher interest rates, flexible deposit and withdrawal options, and no deposit fees, maximizing your earning potential. Note that while some fees and limits may change, these new products are intended to provide greater value and convenience.
Great news for former Airline Credit Union members! In addition to the streamlined account options we’re introducing on July 1st, we’re also providing you with an extra layer of security for your everyday banking. You’ll now have the ability to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your accounts. We’ll be providing more detailed information on how to set up MFA on your Luminus account closer to July 1st. In the meantime, you can explore this overview about MFA to learn more about its benefits.
Important dates and deadlines to keep in mind
Here are a few key dates to be aware of:
- July 1, 2024: Official launch date for our new online banking system and new accounts.
- After July 1, 2024: Airline members must set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for increased security.
- July 15, 2024: The deadline for all Airline members to reset their online banking passwords.
