Founded on September 26, 1951, by Toronto Star employees seeking to enhance community financial services through collaboration, Starnews Credit Union, now known as Luminus Financial, has maintained a commitment to innovative solutions and community-first principles for over 70 years. Through mergers, partnerships, and tailored initiatives, Luminus Financial has continuously adapted to meet the evolving needs of its member-owners, demonstrating a steadfast dedication to both present concerns and future aspirations.
