Ashana is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. As a Board of Director and Chair of the Education committee at Luminus, she plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's strategic direction.

With over 27 years of experience, Ashana has held various leadership positions in both large banks and credit unions, including TD Canada Trust, Alterna Savings, and DUCA Financial. Ashana's educational background includes a degree in Economics from Western University, as well as post-graduate programs in HR management and Sales management from Ryerson and Queen's University, respectively. She is also a recent graduate of CUDA (Certified Credit Union Director Achievement Program), further enhancing her knowledge and expertise in the industry. Apart from her professional endeavors, Ashana is deeply committed to community-based organizations. She has dedicated her time to volunteer roles such as President of WICSA (a university student group), board member at The Riverdale Community Development Corporation, and treasurer of the BHSS school council. She also conducts mindfulness workshops to help individuals dealing with stress and anxiety. With her vast experience, strategic mindset, and dedication to community service, Ashana is an invaluable asset to the organizations she serves and a respected member of the business community.
