Alex Arifuzzaman

Alex Arifuzzaman has been a member of Luminus Financial since 2018. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, where his studies included board governance best practices and financial leadership. Alex began his career at Canadian Tire and Cadillac Fairview, where he focused on forecasting store and property performance using key financial metrics, including preparing and presenting to their respective Boards and Executive Committees. He later transitioned into consulting, working with clients such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Toyota Canada, and Giant Tiger, among others, and has been court-certified as an expert witness in market analytics and financial performance. Since 2016, Alex has taught Analytics to MBA students at the Schulich School of Business, and currently also teaches Marketing and Marketing Analytics at Toronto Metropolitan University.
